Do Mob Football à Premier League: breve história do Futebol Inglês
Prof. Marcos Alvito
Objetivos: traçar as principais etapas da história do futebol na Inglaterra, desde as suas formas tradicionais durante a Idade Média até a hiper-comodificada Premier League, sempre tentando estabelecer (em via de mão dupla) as relações entre o esporte e a sociedade. Daremos destaque a algumas questões como o futebol e a classe trabalhadora, o debate acerca do hooliganismo e o processo de globalização do esporte.

Avaliação: Cada aluno deverá entregar três resenhas de no máximo duas páginas (Arial 12, espaço simples). A resenha deve mencionar as idéias centrais do texto – SEM RESUMI-LO PONTO A PONTO – bem como elaborar um comentário crítico, estabelecendo relações com outros textos, colocando questões, apontando limites e refletindo acerca dos temas presentes no texto.
